St. Demetrios Sunday School

2024-2025

Welcome to our St. Demetrios Sunday School Program!   We look forward to teaching your child about our Orthodox Faith.  We are blessed to have a wonderful and talented group of volunteer teachers to help us achieve this goal.

The St. Demetrios Sunday School Program uses books developed by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese and the Orthodox Christian Education Commission.  This year’s theme is “Sacraments of the Orthodox Church."  The kids will learn about our Holy Sacraments the importance in our lives as Orthodox Christians.

We look forward to a productive year and encourage all parents to become involved with our program.

In Christ's Service,

Outstanding Attendance Awards

The Sunday School Program recognizes all students who have three or less absences during the school year.  These students are awarded a partial tuition voucher ($100) for an Orthodox Christian Camp or a St. Demetrios bookstore gift certificate ($50).

When attending church, adults and children are asked to be respectful in what they say, how they act, and what they wear.  It is asked that clothes be neat and clean.  Girls are recommended to wear a dress or skirt.
