| <><><><> <><><><> Thank You DADS | Our Jr. & Sr. GOYA honored our Dads on Father's Day with a breakfast prepared by our teens. Over 60 Dads received a new silk neck-tie as they entered the church and over 125 people enjoyed breakfast. Thank you to everyone who joined our Father's Day celebration and to our Jr. & Sr. GOYAns for doing such a great job hosting the event. Thank You! <><><><> <><><><> Fire Department Day at Museum of Flight | Friday, June 20th Sunday School Carnival & Jr. GOYA Car Everyone is invited to check out Fire Engines, Ladder Trucks, Rescue Vehicles, the Boeing Clowns and fun Arts and Crafts on Friday, June 20th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is free and open to everyone. <><><><> Sr. GOYA presents "Parents Night Out" | Friday, June 27 All parents are invited to enjoy a parents night out on Friday, June 27th. Bring your children to the St. Demetrios small hall anytime between 6 and 11 p.m. and let our Sr. GOYA babysit for you! Suggested donation of $25 per child. | <><><><> <><><><> <><><><> Vacation Bible School Postponed until late July | We are looking forward to summer and Vacation Bible School. The theme is "Traveling on the Ark of Salvation" Children will learn about the 7 Sacraments of the Church and highlights of VBS will include bible stories, music, drama, crafts, games and dance. All children in Preschool to 4th Grade are invited ot attend. VBS is held at the Church of the Assumption daily from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. An afternoon program will also be available to participants. Date will be in late July. Please contact Church of the Assumption at 206-323-8557 with questions.
